I’ve been getting a lot of requests this year for Senior portrait sessions. There’s something about a Senior portrait session…INSPIRING!!

It was a lot of fun photographing Ritchie and Rusty together…lifelong friends have a way of adding life to a shoot. I was told that they walked each other into school on their first day; I guess its fitting to do a shoot with them as they’re celebrating their way out!

If only all my sessions could be on farm properties!!

I’ve worked with Courtnie before in the past and she never ceases to inspire great photos! We’ll call this shoot “Part 1″ as we’ll be doing another senior session in the near future.

And a course what would a Grierson photoshoot be without the inclusion of her mother Sherry?

Angela, as always, was a lot of fun to work with! Perfect subject my first Senior Session!

Besides the heat, the weather was very much in our favor at one of my favorite locations (I think I’m starting to call all my locations my “favorite” lol).

There really is nothing like a United States Marine Corp uniform…especially when worn at a wedding. In my opinion it trumps ANY tuxedo or suit you could ever find!

That being the case I wanted to showcase more of the group formals to further show off this uniform and great looking couple. Extra special thanks to the bridesmaids and groomsmen for being such a fun crowd!

Congratulations DJ & Erica!! It was an honor. Thank you for your service DJ!

These folks met me at a local beach and we were lucky enough to have most of the place to ourselves. I’m not sure if we could have picked a hotter afternoon though!

Mike & Brooke’s Wedding

I’ve known this awesome couple since Elementary School (which still seems like yesterday!). In fact, Mike and Brooke were the first of two weddings this year involving friends I’ve known since 1st Grade. Strange to imagine, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding Mike and Brooke. It was great to see the both of you again and many old friends from Northern (I love you all!).

Perfect day for an outdoor wedding!

It started off at Michelangelo’s Salon in Huntingtown and ending at The Point at Stoney’s in Broomes Island, Maryland. I highly recommend both for any future bride’s reading this blog.

Extra special thanks to Alana and Brent for all the help they gave me this day….especially the water bottles!!

I’ve known Stacey since I was a kid and had the honor of meeting Jason about two years ago. Their wedding holds the record for most time spent shooting a wedding in one day…16 hours! I think the long hours always pay themselves off in the end when you begin editing the shots you grabbed…I live for the digital darkroom!
